Disney Confirmed Star Wars Spin-offs Are Origin Stories

By  |

Of the Star Wars spin-offs currently planned, which are to be separately written by Simon Kinberg and Lawrence Kasdan are origin stories. Disney’s Jay Rasulo started that ” one “Star Wars” trilogy film or “origin story film” would also appear on the release schedule each year, starting with the seventh installment,” hitting in 2015 (you know, Star Wars Episode VII directed by J.J. Abrams with a score by John Williams, written by Micheal Arndt).

What it might look like if they do it my way.

So there we have it, the rumored Han Solo and Boba Fett films will be origin stories if the rumors are accurate. To be honest, those unconfirmed rumors seem more likely than they ever have now.  Han Solo and Boba Fett clearly fit that model of character open to such a story. Han Solo is totally open to a real origin story more than Boba though. But Boba Fett kind of had his story told in Attack of the Clones and continued throughout The Clone Wars. So if the rumors are true, we are likely to see Boba actually get the armor and all of those things we never had a chance to see happen in the television series.

Why is time going so slow? I want more Star Wars and I want it now! I’m looking at your, Star Wars Rebels!
