Darth Vader Themed TV Specials?! Spring/Summer Ep7 Release Re-Confirmed.

Our pals over at <a href=’http://www.jedinews.co.uk/news/news.aspx?newsID=14008&amp’ ;utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=facebook” target=”_blank”>Jedi News are up to their fantastic tricks again. This time they have news of Disney’s plans for Star Wars over the next two years.

  • A Star Wars Digital Library is to launch in Autumn / Winter 2014.

I’m not sure what that can mean. But it will be cool either way. Access to Star Wars materials in digital form is something I am never against. I’m guessing they mean cartoons, TV, and films?

  • Confirmation that the plan remains for Star Wars Episode VII to be released in the Spring / Summer of 2015.

That’s nice to hear again. I never really bought into the Christmas release too much. It seemed possible but always seemed unlikely. Marketing probably knows the general area of release because it is integral to their plans. I will accept this as confirmation the release has not changed from the time in which we expected it.

  • But perhaps the most surprising, exciting and fast approaching news is the release of “Darth Vader Themed TV Specials.”

This can range from the dopey to the really awesome. It can really go from something as sad as Darth Vader on Ice to something as rad as a Darth Vader story set in the Star Wars Universe.

Head over to Jedi News for the more esoteric aspects of the report. But mostly head over there because they’re a great site and they have a photo of the phamplet.
