Jedi News SQL Interview on Star Wars Episode VII

The team over at Jedi News ran a short interview with their source SQL about Star Wars Episode VII and the status of the project. I suggest heading over there and reading their interview. I have paraphrased the interview below:

– When official news hits the web, it is really old by then. It is tightly PR controlled. There are stacks of news that could be released at any moment.

-Everyone wants to work with Billy Dee because they love him, expect big things from him in the future pertaining to Star Wars.

– SQL has only seen evidence of one person being signed onto the new film in regards to Han, Luke, and Leia.

– It would not surpise SQL if all three did not come back for Star Wars VII (notice SQL does not rule out VIII and IX).

– The principal cast will probably be announced as a group.

– SQL does not want to address the EU or drop any spoilers on that regard to the future of the EU.

-SQL does say the people that bring us the EU won’t be going away anytime soon.

-SQL hints that a planet seen in The Old Republic is in the film. My guess is Ilum as it appeared in Star Wars: The Clone Wars too.

-Emmanuelle Chriqui, Alexis Dziena, and Taissa Farmiga are names SQL has heard as involved with the production.

Once again, head over to Jedi News and read their first hand interview with SQL.
