Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 6 Not Airing on Cartoon Network Next Week.

By  |

Some site called Follows Shows is listing the Tup “Order 66 arc” as a reality on February 14th. The interesting part is they list the entire arc as starting at 9:30 am. So that either means it is an error, or they are airing the piece as a television movie cut instead of individual episodes.

The listing reads:

Clone cadet Tup is suffering from a severe neurological disorder that causes the death of a Jedi master. Trying to find the motives for the assassination, Anakin escorts Tup back to Kamino for examination, but then they are attacked by the Separatists…

That lines up with the Super RTL information pretty well.

I am cynical, as that’s only 8 days away, with no announcement. On the other front, it seems weird that Germany would get the show and no one else. If this happens, I will be excited. It seems weird CN would get it and not XD, but then again, perhaps they don’t want any confusion between Star Wars Rebels and Star Wars: The Clone Wars? That said, please be true!

Thanks to Jedi News for the heads up.

EDIT:

Jedi News squashed the rumor:

Had a very good source at Disney just email me that the Clone Wars is not airing on 15th in USA. Did not say when or where just that its not happening then.

They are telling me that the problem is arising as thetvdb.com which is an open community TV listings is wrong, and a number of sites are pulling some data from it. Checked thetvdb and it is listed on there as 15th. Quite a lot of listing sites out there carrying this bad data including episodecalendar.com

Guessing someone has taken the German data and keyed into the database.
