Wanna see one of the custom cameras that will film Star Wars: Episode VII?

A few hours ago, a tweet went out from Andrew Bikichky regarding “a custom blacked-out Panaflex XL,”that will be used by J.J. Abrams on the next Star Wars films, stating “here’s one of their cameras.” Pretty neat! I have no idea what is custom or special about this camera on a technical level, but the fact it it will film Star Wars: Episode VII makes it special enough for me. The cameras are being nicknamed “Death Star” and “Millenium Falcon.” (Fun Fact: past router names in the Ward household)

It is exciting and thrilling to look at that think of what it might capture on film next month when cameras start rolling on Star Wars: Episode VII.
