Star Wars: Episode VII Tidbits – Dooku lineage, Moraband, Ridley code names, Kenobi film, and Leia’s guards!

Our “Ewok Massacre” source returns! If you recall, we had the first source to clarify that Luke has been out of the scene for ten years. That source has written us today with a lot of tidbits that might be exciting to you guys.

First they reiterate that Luke hasn’t been missing for 35 years:

Again, everything I’ve heard, read or seen says he’s only been gone for around 10 years.

You’ll recall in his original message to us, he talked about Leia with some soldiers.  The recent drone photos and extra picture has a link:

The recent x-wing pictures with the extras in them – these are the same soldiers that were flanking Leia in the production sketch I reported where she was in the middle of several Hutt’s. They still look to me like Naboo guards or pilots as I stated before. Their head-gear is slightly different to the sketch I saw but otherwise it’s the same costumes.

This person offers some elaboration on the Dooku lineage and recent Adam Driver rumors:

And the recent Adam Driver rumor – Benedict Cumberbatch, Gwendoline Christie, the Count Dooku connection, and now the Driver rumors. These are all based on that central idea of an aristocratic family ‘line’ involving Episode 7’s bad guys. And as I said before, I firmly believe its the line of Dooku. Details and characters might have changed but the idea of an aristocratic villain with a heritage going back to the Clone Wars has been there from pre-production and as far as I know it’s still a major part of the story.

The Sith planet of Moraband is in the film:

Moraband – The Sith homeworld is in the movie. It’s been there throughout production with various names attached to it. I had it confirmed to me by someone working in England that there are sets for the ‘Sith world’.

We have a few more code names for Daisy Ridley’s character:

Daisy Ridley – Her character WAS referred to as Kira during pre-production but also at times, Kera, Sera and Fawn

Another spin-off with Kenobi is being considered:

Obi-Wan Kenobi – I’ve heard from quite a few people now that an Obi-Wan Kenobi movie is in the works. For the spin-off movies they were initially going to stay away from any Jedi or Sith characters. But I’m hearing now that because of the popularity of Obi-Wan (fans recently voting for him on the official website etc) that an art team is now working with a writer on concepts for an Obi-Wan movie.

Thanks to the source for the information! It is always appreciated!
