Be One With The Force On January 24 And Help Fight Childhood Cancer

As Star Wars fans, we naturally come together to do good in our communities and bring awareness to important issues that plague our society. Various organizations, like the 501st Legion, the Mando Mercs and Saber Guild, go out there en masse and set the example. Here’s your chance to do the same!

Fellow Star Wars and Disney fangirl Teresa Delgado (a co-host of Fangirls Going Rogue, Star Wars Bookworms, and Disney Vault Talk), Star Wars fanboy and founder of Geek Out Online Steve Glosson, and various other geek podcasters will be doing a fundraiser event to fight childhood cancer on Saturday, January 24, starting at 10AM EST.

Check out the following press release for more details and information on how you can contribute this weekend:

CURE Childhood Cancer is an organization that has been around since 1975. They are dedicated to curing Childhood Cancer in our lifetime. We here at the GOLiverse are proud to partner with them to raise money for a cause we believe in.
