Book Update: Rey’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens Journal

By  |

Coming hot on the heels of this week’s ton of Star Wars book news, Amazon.com is now listing a “Star Wars: Female Character Replica Journal” for December 22, 2015, published by Studio Fun. It’s pretty obvious that this will be related to Star Wars: The Force Awakens, given the date and the secrecy of the character. This book is a new entry in the same series that already brought us the journals of Ezra Bridger and Sabine Wren from Star Wars Rebels.

Most likely this book will be Rey’s journal, because she seems to be the most important female character from the movie that you would want to promote in such a fashion. It could of course also be Leia’s journal or that of another female character, but given the target group of 6- to 9-year-old children, I am fairly certain the character would have to be someone young. Rey is the obvious choice for that.

No author is listed for the book yet, but the two previous entries in the series were written by Daniel Wallace, so there’s a good chance it’s him.
