Clone Wars “Bad Batch” Arc Screening at Star Wars Celebration

Dave Filoni shocked Star Wars: The Clone Wars fans last year when he announced in a special blog post that ARC Trooper Echo was still alive! Many of us thought he died tragically in an explosion during the Citadel arc in season three. Since then, more information about Echo’s status surfaced through conversations on Twitter with Clone Wars writers Brent Friedman and Matt Michnovetz. We discovered that Echo is part of an experimental group of clone commandos led by Captain Rex, but with the series cancelled, many believed the story would take up dust on the shelves.

Not anymore!

I can’t wait to see this story unfold. Anyone who knows me is fully aware of my love for clone troopers. They’re my favorite part of the Star Wars universe. Although I’m going to have heaps of emotions during the screening, I can’t wait to see this story featuring my favorite character, Captain Rex, and Echo. Looking forward to seeing this with other fans!
