Star Wars: The Force Awakens Junior Novel Confirmed

Good news from Germany: as reported at Jedi-Bibliothek, there will be a junior novel adaptation of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

German publisher Panini has listed this book on German Amazon–apparently a junior novel adaptation of the new movie set for a German release in December 2015, although that date may be subject to change depending on licensing requirements and script availability.

Since German publishers not publish their own Star Wars junior novels, it stands to reason that this is a translation of a book that will also be released in the United States. In fact, this old placeholder listing by Disney-Lucasfilm Press is what we believe to be the English edition of the Episode VII junior novel adaptation. Note that the March 2016 date given in the Amazon listing is subject to change.

However, there is no word on the author’s identity as of yet.
