Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Tidbits from Celebration Anaheim

By  |

There’s so much Star Wars related news coming out of Anaheim that it is really easy to lose track.

For starters, the second teaser trailer wasn’t the only The Force Awakens bit to come out of the J.J. Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy panel. It was confirmed that the desert planet seen in previews isn’t Tatooine but rather the new planet of Jakku, thus ending the debate that has gone back-and-forth on the Internet for the last couple of months. Also confirmed was that Rey is a scavenger who works out of a ship graveyard, Finn is a stormtrooper, and Poe is on a mission from a certain princess…

Meanwhile, there’s also an exhibit for The Force Awakens that has other bits of information within as well as close-up looks at some of the new armor and vehicles.
