The cast of Star Wars: Rogue One looks better and better! According to the latest report from Variety, actor Forest Whitaker is in talks to join the cast of the first anthology film.

Rogue One takes place between Episode III and Episode IV, but closer to the events of A New Hope. Some time ago, Variety also reported that Diego Luna would join the cast, but there is no official word from Disney and Lucasfilm.

Also a producer and director, Forest Whitaker won an Academy Award for his role as the dictator Idi Amin in The Last King of Scotland. Other memorable performances include Bird, Ghost Dog, and The Butler.
