Yesterday TheForce.net revealed a few pieces of concept art–check them out for a few early BB-8s and an inhabitant of the Exotic City. A few of these were sent to us in fairly good quality. Here you can see the Bullhead Alien concepts and the front of the TIE starfighter design. It was a really great post by TheForce.net and we’d like to help out with a slight upgrade and some elaboration on the design front.

The Bullhead

We discussed the Bullhead design on this site and the podcast in depth back in January.

The TIE starfighter is one of my favorite designs that does not appear to make it onto the screen. I believe this design was to set the TIE apart from the average TIE, justifying the two seats (which Poe and Finn will need to escape in the film).

The designs are really cool and it would have been neat to see them in Star Wars: The Force Awakens! Head over to TheForce.net to check out a few more pieces!
