Has Regé-Jean Page been cast in the anthology film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story?

The Star Wars Post has discovered something of interest to us. A young British actor named Regé-Jean Page has been linked to a role in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story via casting industry databases. Rogue One will tell the story of the daring plan to retrieve the Death Star plans from the evil clutches of the Empire. This means he could potentially be a freedom fighter or an Imperial stooge.

As far as I can recall, all of the actors listed on the casting sites have panned out for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. While nothing is ever 100% without an announcement, there’s a fairly good chance this one will pan out and we will see Regé-Jean Page in Rogue One in some form or another.

IMDb says:

Regé-Jean Page is a British actor who’s up bringing saw travel across Africa, Europe, the US and the UK before finally settling in London. Alumni of the National Youth Theatre and trained at the infamous Drama Centre London, Regé is best known for Survivor (2015), Troublemaker (2004) and Waterloo Rd (2006).

Nice find there, Star Wars Post!
