The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is coming to Los Angeles!
The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is coming to Los Angeles according to a statement on its Twitter page. I cannot communicate in words how elated I am to have this coming to the Los Angeles area where I can take my kids to it. The museum has had a turbulent uphill battle to get the huge museum built in a major city. I feel like we just won the museum lottery here in Southern California. The museum will be built at Exposition Park.

You can add this to the list of things George Lucas makes happen. The man doesn’t give up and he and his team were told “no” so many times and yet here it is. The will of George Lucas is no joke.
According to the LA Times:
Lucas has said he will fund the project to the tune of about $1 billion, including building costs, his art and an endowment of at least $400 million.
I will be there with my family on day one. Congratulations to the Lucas family for its amazing undertaking and to the Lucas family for its generous contribution to us in Southern California and abroad. That’s very generous.
