Star Wars Comics Now Available Through Comixology Unlimited and More

By  |

Since I’ve started reviewing the Star Wars comics here at Making Star Wars, the one thing I’ve heard more often than not is how daunting it can be to jump into such a vast catalog. It’s only been two years, and we already have what feels like countless series: the main Star Wars series, Darth Vader, Doctor Aphra, Poe Dameron, Darth Maul, the various movie adaptations, and numerous other five-issue arcs. Thankfully, Marvel has done something to make this easier for the weary: they’ve joined forces with Comixology and Amazon to provide a good handful of their series for an affordable price.

While this won’t give you access to every single storyline out there, it should be enough to give you an idea if this is something you want to invest your time in. And, from what I can tell, you are able to read the first two volumes of both the main Star Wars and Darth Vader series, along with the Force Awakens adaptation and the first issue of Darth Maul. I didn’t personally enjoy the Force Awakens adaptation, but the other two series are some of the best we’ve seen yet, and I’m confident they’ll continue to upload more series as time goes on.

Oh, and did I mention there’s a free 30-day trial?

Let us know if you end up signing up and what you think!
