Bob Iger: Mark Hamill’s best performance is in Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Today marks the first official day of the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California. The big panel today at the expo is the “Disney Legends Ceremony” panel, where stars and more are honored for their work on various Disney properties. Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher were honored today alongside Stan Lee and many more. During the panel Bob Iger gave the following statement on Mark Hamill’s performance as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.  Via The Hollywood Reporter:

“Iger then introduced Hamill, saying his performance in Last Jedi is “worth the wait” and his “best performance to date.”

I can’t wait to see what Luke is like after all these years. I have no doubt that Mark will deliver an amazing performance just as he did for the Original Trilogy. Stay tuned for more The Last Jedi news this weekend during D23.
