In this brief article, we’re going to have some fun.  We’re going to look at the official casting call and look at how it interfaces with’s Star Wars scoops, since the October announcement of a sequel trilogy. We will take it a little further and work in their other two stories as well. Why don’t we make the square pegs fit in the round holes here? Remember, this is for fun, don’t shoot me, in some versions I shoot second, some I shoot first. Remember that.

Possible Solo Kid:

OFFICIAL: Young twenty-something male, witty and smart, fit but not traditionally good looking.

Am I traditionally good looking? No one knows what that means. I’m fit!

Latino-Review wrote:

As for what role Efron would be playing, we don’t know. He could be a Solo kid.

The New Son of Skywalker:

OFFICIAL: A late twentysomething male, fit, handsome and confident.

I was in The Notebook. I define handsome now.

Latino-Review:  What I was told for sure is the Gosling went in for Skywalker’s son. Yes, that’s right Luke’s kid.

 Thirty Something Male, Unknown:

OFFICIAL: Thirtysomething male, intellectual. Apparently doesn’t need to be fit.

You don’t know me, dawg!

Latino-Review: As for what role he would be playing, we don’t know.

The Old Tough Guy:

OFFICIAL: Seventy-something male, with strong opinions and tough demeanour. Also doesn’ t need to be particularly fit.

I’m fit. Can I try out for the other roles too?

Latino-Review: Harrison Ford is back as Han Solo.

The Ghost of Darth Sidious:

Latino-Review: Palpatine comes back as a Force Obi Wan. (Sith Lords learned similar techniques, which in some cases allowed them to physically interact with their environment.)

The Ghost of Obi-Wan Kenobi:

I am the ghost of Renton!

Latino-Review: I have confirmed this with three close sources that are on the project and they all confirmed to me that Ewan McGregor would be back as a Force Ghost in the upcoming sequel trilogy.

So there we have it. If has nailed it all, this is what Star Wars Episode VII looks like to us today. They have bulls-eyed so many stories in the Marvel and DC universes, it is hard to say they’re wrong. But I think the chances that they’re right on this set of scoops is very slim.
