If Star Wars: Episode VII doesn’t want John Boyega, Terminator does!

I am happy to see things going well for John Boyega. The first film I ever saw him in was Attack the Block and he plays the silent hero rather well in it.

Star Wars: Episode VII has to make a choice on who the male hero is very soon. But there is a chance he may always go with the sure thing rather than the best thing. I am pulling for him in Star Wars, still. On the other hand, I hope the actor that becomes the hero in Star Wars doesn’t star in a ton of Hollywood films. If Boyega is sought after, one of the other choices may be better for the Star Wars franchise. Granted, once a hero is chosen, they will be sought after, but once the exposure hits, generally, the association kills the possibilities of the actor. It might actually be a blessing in disguise for Boyega if he isn’t cast, because I think he can actually be a star. Being a star after Star Wars is a whole different game…
