When Deadline posts a Star Wars scoop, it is generally wise to listen to it. They have probably have one of the best track records out there for Star Wars: Episode VII so far. Wow, that’s cool that Han Solo might have a large role in the film. That sounds exciting. I hope Luke is huge in this film, myself.
Oscar Isaac is the first new face we’ve heard of this week.
A table reading tomorrow is also rumored to take place.
I’m hearing that Inside Llewyn Davis star Oscar Isaac is in line for a major role, as is Adam Driver and Attack the Block’s John Boyega, both of whom have been rumored. There is also a young girl, and that might be Maisie Richardson-Sellers, an Oxford-trained actress whose casting has been rumored in recent weeks. The new cast members will join returning Star Wars alums Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill. The big surprise, I’m told, is that Ford has a gigantic role in the first of the next three films. Disney hasn’t been commenting on any of this, and today’s no different.
I can’t believe we’re at the finish line and this could be somewhat if not what the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII looks like.
