“I don’t know anything about it. I haven’t seen it yet.” says Lucas.
“Because it’s not in the movie theater. I like going to the movies and watching the whole thing there. I plan to see it when it’s released.”
This isnt really that surprising considering how far Lucas has moved since the sale of the company to Disney back in late 2012. He gave them a love letter to base the new films off of and spoke with J.J. many times during the early phases of the development of the new film, and that was it. Lucas has moved on to other things such as his awesome Lucas Museum of Narrative Art thats going up in Chicago. Much like him, I’m sure many fan feel the same way of wanting to see it in the theater like its supposed to be, but cant resist the amazing trailer. I couldn’t wait to see it either so I myself watched it on the computer the moment it went up. But I didn’t have a theater local to me to go to see it the right way.
