It’s interesting–there’s so many rumors about lineage, but I wonder if we need any familial connections going on. I think having the original cast in the movie bringing in a new cast is enough. But, I’d be happy if there were one connection, and not so many, you know? Either Rey is, or someone else, but not everyone.

agree, i was OK at the beginning of rumors hearing about the connections but as we learn more about how complex the story is getting for a star wars movie it becomes too much.

If these new (or more fleshed out) spoilers are accurate, then I’m glad they are coming out now so people can absorb them for several months. Because I think this makes for better story telling than what has been reported in the past. Now it feels like a movie that works as an introduction to the new while showing off one of our favorite characters from the old. It also sets up an extremely hopeful ending that fits right in with what Star Wars has always been about.

Just curious guys: Do you have any idea how Finn’s character is resolved or set up at the end?
It was implied in the past that he was on “the path of the Jedi.” Is that still in play or are you guys not sure?
