Star Wars Rebels: Sabine My Rebel Sketchbook
by Dan Wallace and Annie Stoll

To put it simply, Sabine My Rebel Sketchbook is all kinds of amazing. It’s a fascinating book that shares Sabine Wren’s experiences with the crew of the Ghost. A Mandalorian weapons expert and an artist, you see her passion for both throughout her sketchbook. You’ll also find a few Bothans and other canon gems, including my favorite: Sabine knows Mando’a!

So far, I speak Mando’a and Basic…and Huttese, and Aqualish, and Rodian–those three share certain structural similarities, so if you learn one you can learn the others…A little Wookiee (but it’s rough on my throat, I lost my voice for a day after bugging Zeb by seranading him in Shyriiwook). I understand astromech droidspeak too. And I know I’m forgetting a few…

Star Wars Rebels: The Secret Jedi: The Adventures of Kanan Jarrus: Rebel Leader
by Benjamin Harper

The Adventure of Kanan Jarrus is a 32-page book that retells the events of “Spark of Rebellion” and “Rise of the Old Masters”. It comes with a foldable holocron that holds a special code to access a secret website with additional content and information. A few details that stood out to me included Depa Billaba’s background and the existence of Sith holocrons, as seen in the excerpts below.

Depa Billaba was a Jedi Master and a member of the Jedi Council. She was a Chalactan from the planet Chalacta. When Depa was a child, Mace Windu, another member of the Jedi Council, rescued her from space pirates. He took her on as his Padawan and trained her in the ways of the Force. She was wise and spiritual and renowned for her skills with a lightsaber.

There are also Sith Holocrons that work in similar ways to Jedi Holocrons. These dark Holocrons contain ancient secrets of the dark side and the Sith Order.

Order your copy today to learn other secrets, or better yet, share the book with a youngling in your family.
