Star Wars Rebels: Fulcrum’s Identity Further Revealed! Case closed!

We first had an inkling about Fulcrum’s identity sometime ago. With our report this week about three characters in the opening of season 2 of Star Wars Rebels, it became a lot more obvious it was Ahsoka Tano. Rebels Report now has the nailed in the coffin to this mystery:

Olivia Luccioni is a very busy actress including doing the French voice acting for Ahsoka Tano on The Clone Wars from 2008-2012.  She also happens to have a very up to date official website. On her website she also has an up to date CV which lists all of her acting roles in various mediums. Under the “Television (Series)” section of her CV she lists a role as, “2014 : Star Wars Rebel : Asokha Tano déguisée en Fulkrum – Série Animée.”

The actress that plays Ahsoka Tano is confirming it. That’s as close to a confirmation as we’re going to get before its really official acknowledged, probably after it is shown at Star Wars Celebration. You’re going to want to be there to see this.

The CV you posted makes no mention of Rebels, only the Clone Wars.

I’d perfectly okay with Ahsoka being Fulcrum… but I would love it if Fulcrum turned out to be a last-minute surprise.

I think it would be awesome if Fulcrum turned out to be Airen Cracken.

It’s clear to me that the Rebels production team is familiar with the old West End Games Star Wars RPG. They’ve referenced “Cracken’s Rebel Field Guide” in their trivia for “Gathering Forces” and “Call to Action.” It makes sense that Cracken, who would have been fighting the Empire for a few years already, would be making contact with insurgent cells and sharing his techniques on how to oppose the Empire.

That’s my theory, at least. I think it would be an awesome callback to fans who have been into the EU for decades.

Yeah, but then in hindsight it’d be underwhelming to watch ROTJ and barely know Fulcrum was there manning the Falcon turrets.

I’m ecstatic about this news! Ahsoka was one of main draws of TCW for me, along with Ventress. Now we need to bring Ventress in on the action! How about a spin-off film about their inevitable climactic confrontation/epic alliance?

Actually, I’m pretty sure that revelation will come in this season’s finale. If it’s finally a credited role in the season two premiere, the reveal is probably in the finale. That way, the reveal will be a surprise and then Lucasfilm can head into season two openly admitting to Ashley Eckstein’s involvement and giving her the credit.

Yeah, I expect it, last few minutes of the finale to drum up HYPE.

URG, if they leave us hanging ’til season 2!
