This weekend has been eventful to say the least when it comes to Star Wars news, with The Force Awakens second teaser, Star Wars Rebels season 2 trailer, and much more!

One Celebration panel I was extremely excited for was the LEGO panel featuring Michael Price and Anthony Daniels. Not only was it great to hear about their experiences working on LEGO shows such as The Yoda Chronicles; it was really exciting to find out more about the up and coming project Droid Tales.

In February it was announced that Droid Tales would tell the story of the Star Wars saga from C-3P0 and R2-D2’s perspective. During the panel,  LEGO Star Wars writer Michael Price confirmed the show would span the entire saga cut down into five episodes, with The Phantom Menace and Attack Of The Clones being the first episode, The Clone Wars and Revenge Of The Sith being episode two. After the prequel trilogy has passed in episode two we move onto the original trilogy era, with Rebels and A New Hope making up episode three and The Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi completing the series in episode four and five.

It was also confirmed during the panel that the show’s first episode would premiere in July on DisneyXD, with an episode a month leading into the fall and of course the release of a certain movie.

All in all, a great panel that showed how brilliant and enthusiastic the creatives are who work endlessly behind the scenes. Clips of the show were also shown, you can watch the panel which includes the trailer for Droid Tales and more in the video below.

The panel begins at around 7:01 hours:
