Greg Grunberg on Star Wars: The Force Awakens and slight confirmation of a past scene.

Greg Grunberg has assured EW.com that Star Wars: The Force Awakens is going to be “incredible.”

SPOILER DISCUSSION BELOW:

Grunberg says:

Like there were moments when J.J. would yell, ‘Cut’,’ and then come over to me and go, ‘Are you f–king kidding me? Did that just happen? Did I just pan from C-3PO to R2-D2 to Han Solo and then to you?’

While it isn’t that apparent, you can tell Grunberg is talking about the sequence we mentioned here last week where Grunberg discusses the plans with the Resistance to destroy the First Order super weapon and Fortress.

Grunberg also confirms his role is rather small in the sense he didn’t need to be a part of the roundtable read:

I have not read the full script. Harrison [Ford] and Carrie read the script, they had a roundtable in the early day—I wasn’t part of that.

Grunberg is going to play a really cool part in the film as the X-wing leader opposite Poe Dameron with the blue squadron. Screen Shot 2015-06-22 at 3.48.18 PM
