A lot has happened since October 30th, 2012 when Disney bought Lucasfilm. The buyout was approved a little while later on December 4th, 2012. Then we just had to wait. We thought the wait would be shorter (at least I did). But then a slight delay from May to December hit, but it was for the best as it gave the Star Wars: The Force Awakens more time to breathe. Not to mention the injuries Harrison Ford sustained on set that called for another break during filming (and J.J. Abrams more time to refine the filming and look at what they had captured).
Now we’ve got 100 days until the movie comes out. That is no time at all.
In three months and some change we will all be watching Star Wars: The Force Awakens and the real wait for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will begin. Just a few more days really!
