The Orange County Register broke down the new adventure added to Star Tours at Disneyland. It sounds great, and I will of course cover it again on Monday with my observations and thoughts when the ride opens to the public.
- Surprisingly, Jakku is the first stop you make after the opening of the ride.
- John Boyega on the Falcon as Finn shows up on the viewscreen to right of the viewport and says “Star Tours, what are you doing here?”
- You follow the Falcon through the Jakku Star Destroyer graveyard as we saw in the footage released last week.
- As you fly through the wreckage you see Rey climbing a rope
- R2-D2 accepts a mission from BB-8 but it sounds like the ball droid is the holographic guest that gives the mission (usually Admiral Ackbar, Princess Leia Organa, or Jedi Master Yoda).
