Minor stories keep Saga fans hungry for info

Comic-Con 2017 wasn’t supposed to deliver big news about the Star Wars galaxy, but there’s been plenty of little to medium-sized stuff to keep fans interested in SDCC.

One of the biggest “little stories” was EW‘s Anthony Breznican writing about the “how the new Star Wars novels will connect to The Last Jedi.

“It’s important to explore all areas of the Star Wars universe—the known and the unknown—because all stories matter,” said Andrew Sugerman, executive vice president of Disney’s publishing and digital media, to Breznican.

“That’s the beauty of Star Wars. There’s one shared universe, so the films connect to the games, which connect to the books, which connect to the animation, and so on…”

Mr. Ward was also busy tracking down new information on The Last Jedi and its promotional posters. As Star Wars fans well know, promo posters and art are a big deal — and often

I’ve been running around San Diego Comic-Con this weekend and as luck would have it I’ve seen a few of the poster concepts from Star Wars: The Last Jedi. I’m told one of these is likely to be the theatrical poster that will hit with the final trailer around Monday Night Football here in the United States. The posters might not see the light of the day. However, I’m told they’re strong contenders and anything can happen…
