Star Wars Show Previews D23 Expo

D23 ExpoNew information expected throughout this weekend’s D23 Expo

The new edition of the Star Wars Show (embedded below) is up and features a fair amount of info interesting to Star Wars fans.

Co-hosts Andi Gutierrez and Anthony Carboni previewed the offerings at D23 Expo (July 14-16) in Anaheim, California.

“There’s going to be a ton of new Star Wars stuff revealed throughout the event,” said Gutierrez.

She and Carboni ran down a solid list of  expected highlights from the weekend:

  • Friday, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher are set to receive Disney Legends Awards
  • Saturday, the Walt Disney Studios presents their Live-Action Films Presentation. “You might see something pretty interesting from us during the panel,” said Andi.
  • Battlefront II will have a presence at D23 Expo, as well. During the Level Up video game showcase, Janina Gavankar — Inferno Squad’s Iden Versio — will take the stage.
  • Meanwhile, an entire pavilion of the Expo will give details on the new Star Wars-themed lands going into the Disney parks in Orlando and Anaheim.
  • Gutierrez will also take part in the Oh My Disney live stream, where she will interview Ashley Eckstein and Lucasfilm’s Jennifer Heddle.
