A Solo: A Star Wars Story book description has confirmed an earlier MakingStarWars.net scoop that
Vandor is a major planet in the upcoming Star Wars standalone. Vandor is the planet where the train heist will go down. That is the planet where we see the train going through what we assume to be the Iridium mountains (at least it sounded like Iridium might be a place on a planet and not an entire world). Either way, the train chase takes place on Vandor for sure.
The book description from Amazon.com reads:
Han Solo and Chewbacca the Wookiee must team-up for a daring train heist on the planet Vandor!
The story we published in October stated these locations were included in the film:
Savareen has since been confirmed in recent publishing (the Star Wars: The Last Jedi Visual Dictionary). We’re not that far off from Solo: A Star Wars Story but it is nice to have old things confirmed. The next trailer isn’t far off either. So hopefully we get a better feel for the film now. I have to say, after watching The Last Jedi several times at home now, I am looking forward to the more lighthearted comedy of the Solo film now. I think it might be just what we need after such a heavy Star Wars film that put our heroes through the wringer.
Another book description for Most Wanted reads:
Set before the events of Solo: A Star Wars Story! Han and Qi’ra don’t have a lot in common other than not having a lot. They’re street kids on the industrial planet Corellia, doing whatever it takes to get by, dreaming of something more. They each jump at a chance to prove themselves in the perilous world of Corellia’s criminal underbelly, only to discover they are on the same mission for the same unscrupulous boss. When the job goes disastrously wrong, Han and Qi’ra are on the run–from pirates, a droid crime syndicate, the Empire, and their boss–and will have to learn to trust each other if they are going to survive.
Thanks to Indiana Jedi for the heads up!
