Yes, I used the words “invented” han twice about Lawrence Kasdan writing the definitive version of Han in the Empire Strikes Back. Obviously, George Lucas invented our favorite smuggler. But for the most part, I think I made a decent amount of sense without my first cup of coffee in me.
