This is an pretty incredible week for Star Wars. On Thursday we get the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story (which is an amazing movie if I might add) and today we get a major update regarding Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge! Disney has released a video revealing when the theme park will officially open:

So there you have it. Galaxy’s Edge is opening at Disneyland first in Summer 2019, followed by Disney World in late Fall 2019. Myself and Jason have been following the construction of Galaxy’s Edge here in Disneyland for the past year. I love seeing how far the construction has come each time we go. I’m not surprised that it’s launch at Disneyworld is delayed as the construction looks to be behind compared to Disneyland.
2019 is sure to be a jam packed year for Star Wars fans. With Star Wars Celebration Chicago kicking off the year followed by Galaxy’s Edge, D23, the live action Star Wars series, and to end the year off with Star Wars: Episode IX! Needless to say, we are in for a very fun ride in 2019.
