Tour the Millennium Falcon with Donald Glover

Solo: A Star Wars Story star shows viewers around the famous freighter

“She’s the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy… ” was Lando Calrissian’s description of the Millennium Falcon during his original introduction to the saga back in The Empire Strikes Back.

However, Billy Dee Williams, the actor who uttered those famous words, never saw the Falcon in its glory.

Many fans have seen the below clip at the theater (in pre-show video and preview format in showings of Avengers: Infinity War), but today the official Star Wars Twitter and YouTube accounts posted Donald Glover’s tour of the Falcon.

This version of the ship is hardly “junk.”

“This is where the magic happens,” said Glover–a.k.a. “young” Calrissian–as he entered Lando’s quarters and led cameras around the interior set of the modified YT freighter.

“But I think the coolest part of this entire ship is in here,” added Donald. “The cape room.

“I’ve got every cape…”

Even beyond Edna Mode’s closet of nightmares, this sleeker (sexier?) version of the ship is well appointed, with a galley, guest quarters, couches, and a sound system.

However, don’t take my word for it. Take the tour! JB
