Lucasfilm tells ABC News that unannounced non-trilogy based Star Wars films are still in production!

ABC reporter and Star Wars fan Clayton Sandell has a new report for ABC News, that recent reports of a hazy future for standalone Star Wars films may be premature. We recently heard that an unknown and unannounced Star Wars film was canceled, sparking rumors that all the spin-off films were canceled.

Lucasfilm spoke to ABC News to shed some light on the confusion about the future of stand-alone Star Wars films:

Lucasfilm told ABC News there are still “multiple” Star Wars films currently in development that have not been officially announced.
