Kathleen Kennedy

Kathleen Kennedy to continue making Star Wars for at least three more years!

Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy has signed on for three more years at Lucasfilm according to THR. This is really great news, as under the eye of Kathleen Kennedy we have consistently had Star Wars films arrive that have been top-notch quality and when things were not going on a positive path, she has done the hard thing and course corrected every time. Lesser studios or studios without as much money and power would have released films of lesser quality but Star Wars under Kathleen Kennedy has escaped such losses and fans are grateful.

Kathleen Kennedy has reignited her lightsaber. The lead producer and architect of the Star Wars franchise has renewed her contract to remain president of Lucasfilm for another three years, through 2021, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

This is hilarious news on the heels of YouTubing scumbags spreading false narratives about Kennedy being fired and being let go in September of 2018. With just moments left in the month, this of course has been completely destroyed by THR story indicating we have at least three more years of Kathleen Kennedy and Star Wars to come. It was always really clear the rumor was made up because there is no way the corporation would have allowed for her to start making Star Wars: Episode IX if they were going to let her go during the production.

Right now Star Wars is being guided by one of the best rockstars in producing of this generation and I am not taking this era for granted. This will be regarded as one of the golden ages of Star Wars as a genre. George Lucas knew that Kathleen Kennedy was the one to make this happen and she was the one he trusted with the monster he created and eventually let go.
