Live-Action TelevisionStar Wars: The Mandalorian

Has Game of Thrones’ Pedro Pascal been cast in the live-action Star Wars television series?

The one question I keep getting asked about the new live-action television series is who is being cast in the show. Casting has never been my strongest place in all of this. However, I do hear stuff. There was a time I thought Aaron Paul was playing Cassian and I believe the trades ended up confirming that he was a contender later on. That said, there are times I do get info and once again, that casting scene isn’t really my place, but after the day we’ve had, here’s a rumor for the fun of it.

The last thing I heard was that Pedro Pascal was the person being held up as a central lead in the live-action Star Wars series about the restoration of Mandalore.

Pedro Pascal

Pascal is really excellent in Narcos. Most Star Wars fans might know him as Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones. You can check out his IMDb here. I think he would be a welcome addition to the Star Wars universe if this information pans out. We cannot confirm he has the part but he was a contender and sources of ours believe he’s a lead in the first live-action Star Wars television series.

Hopefully the official confirmation of the cast and premise are released sooner than later. Until then, keep checking back as we follow the production of the live-action Star Wars show coming to the Disney streaming service in 2019.
