Boris Kit at The Hollywood Reporter has a report which as been corroborated that Nick Nolte has joined the cast of Star Wars: The Mandalorian. at The WrapMSW has recently reported that Pedro Pascal is up the leading role as the Mando himself. We have also had several reports that Carl Weathers has a role as well. Gina Carano is said to have a part and now The Wrap reports:
Nick Nolte has joined the cast of “The Mandalorian,” Disney’s upcoming live-action Star Wars TV show from Jon Favreau, individuals with knowledge of the project tell TheWrap.
The cast of The Mandalorian is shaping up to be one of the more interesting Star Wars ensembles we’ve seen between what has been reported and what has not. Nolte has too many parts to pick one as his defining role but it is pretty interesting to see him coming aboard Star Wars. This reminds me of when Woody Harrelson came aboard Solo: A Star Wars Story. He’s really known to anyone in their thirties but for younger Star Wars fans this will likely be their introduction to Notle.
Notle is a fun choice for Star Wars and even has a clone that lived named Gary Busey who has also acted in Hollywood.
Star Wars: The Mandalorian will premiere on Disney+, a streaming service coming in 2019.
