Anaheim’s Star Wars Celebration 2020 dates announced!

The shape of what's to come!

StarWars.com has updated with the much anticipated dates of Star Wars Celebration 2020. This Celebration will be near Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Disneyland. It being down the street from me, nothing makes me happier than reporting this news and not having to travel. Every Star Wars Celebration should be in Anaheim so it is already one of my favorite ones and it hasn’t even happened yet.

The meat of the StarWars.com update:

StarWars.com is excited to announce that Star Wars Celebration will return to Anaheim, California, on August 27-30, 2020, at the Anaheim Convention Center. The world’s biggest gathering of Star Wars fans, Celebration is an official production from Lucasfilm and ReedPOP, honoring the past of a galaxy far, far away while looking ahead at what’s to come — from new movies to upcoming shows, games, and comics. Tickets go on sale June 21 at 9 a.m. PT.

This Celebration promises to be about what is to come for Star Wars. That’s pretty exciting news unto itself. The first Celebration post-sequel trilogy will kind of give us a glimpse at the tone of the future just as the first Celebration Anaheim did in 2015.

I look forward to seeing everyone there. It will be a lot of fun to be in Anaheim in August after the convention  each night too. A lot of the fun of Celebration is being able to hang out with all of your Star Wars friends in one place. This one one should be extra rad considering the location, the weather, and the after convention MakingStarWars.net party that will be the best time.

Start saving your pennies. Make sure you come out and it will be a good time. I can’t wait to see all you whacky bastards in the same place next year on the convention floor and at Galaxy’s Edge just down the street!
