Julia Jones joins the cast of Star Wars: The Mandalorian.

Deadline is reporting that Julia Jones has joined the cast of Star Wars: The Mandalorian. It seems to imply that Jones is in season one of the series. Jones is known for having been in Twilight as well as Westworld. Still, it is nice to see the cast being filled out further as some of these characters may go on in the next season of the show.

Deadline writes:

The Boston native has been added to the cast of The Mandalorian, the ambitious bounty hunter series that will premiere in November as a cornerstone component of the Disney+ streaming subscription service.

I’m not super familiar with her work overall. I could be totally off but she does kind of resemble the woman in the trailer that clutches a child on the tree world:

EW was also given photos to release from the Disney+ Star Wars series The Mandalorian. We get look at his helmet again which is cool but not really anything at all of note when you get down to it. The cool thing is we see the Mando fighting two dudes that look like Trandoshans. mixed with humans. We can’t tell if they simply up-designed Bossk or if these are something a little different in the deeper lore.

The Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal) and the Trandoshans

I’m honestly as excited for The Mando to hit as I am The Rise of Skywalker. The show sounds like it is going to be so much fun and it should delve into a part of the mythology I dig a lot. I think it will be fun to have a full exploration of the life of a bounty hunter in the aftermath of Return of the Jedi. It just seems like it gets to pull from so many different aspects of the saga all at once.

The series will premiere on Disney+ in November! We’re not far off now.
