It what amounts to really great news, we have a release date for Star Wars: The Mandalorian’s second season. In the release photo, they’ve updated the logo to include the child with the Mando which is rather quaint. But we have a release date and that’s all that matters!

There’s been a lot of rumors recently about the show and on my end, none of them seem valid. Friends who worked on the second season said the production was smooth, and in good spirits for the most part. I have no interest in debunking anything or anyone. I get asked about rumors a lot and I can just say that I heard only good things until an incorrect trailer rumor surfaced recently.
My sources told me the entire time that the trailer rumor was false. I never reported on a trailer for that reason. The rumor has morphed into the trailer was pulled at the last second. But Disney bought that time. If Disney had bought a block of time for the trailer, what did they put it in its place?
I know they cut a trailer for sure. I hope we get it soon. Do they need to release a trailer? I don’t know. When we have a film they want to get pre-sell tickets. Disney+ is a lot different. People subscribed for a full year. I get it for free from my Verizon service. So I’m not exactly sure what the advantage is for Disney to release a trailer too early for a show people are interested in already.
But don’t get me wrong, as a fan, I hope they release a trailer as soon as possible.
I’m really excited to see where the show goes. Will it be a totally different experience than the first or will it be more of the Mando and baby on the run?
Less than two months until we get more Mando!
